Natural Killer Cell Therapy
• NK cells don’t need to be genetically engineered to recognize cancer cells.

• Compared to other forms of cancer treatment, such as chemotherapy, radiation, and even other immunotherapies, NK cell therapy does not cause many side effects. Due to use of own NK cells, there is no allergic reaction or rejection.

• NK cell therapy does not stress the body and can be applied continuously.

• NK cell therapy is especially effective in preventing recurrence and metastasis of cancer.

• Also suitable for preventing cancer and other diseases related to weakened immune system.

Studies on the effectiveness of NK Cell Therapy
Natural killer cells, like T-cells, form part of the immune system and attack germs and other malignant cells. Unlike T-cells, however, NK cells are not tailored to specific antigens. NK cells can detect and destroy any cell that looks abnormal, including cancer cells.
Healthy individuals produce about 4000 to 5000 new cancer cells daily which is manageable by normal functioning of immune system. However, when due to various reasons balance between cancer cell count and NK cell count shift towards cancer, it starts developing.

BH Biotech’s NK cell therapy is based on cultivating patient’s own NK cells to be injected back. NK cells extracted from a patient’s blood sample (up to 60 ml) are cultivated in sterile conditions for 2 weeks. NK cell count rises to 1 billion which is 10 times more than the average amount in a healthy adult. Ample amount of NK cells effectively suppresses and destroy cancer cells, can even dissolve tumors.
